Magazine Genres

 Hello World! Today's blog will be focusing on discussing and differentiating the magazine genres. After my own personal research of discovering what kind of magazine I would like to produce.

The list of magazine genres is quite lengthy so I'll only discuss the types that are most popular in my opinion. 

1. Beauty/Cosmetics: This type of magazine mainly attracts, but not limited to, women. It focuses on beauty tips/hacks, the latest makeup and cosmetology brands, the latest fashion tips, graphic tutorials, etc.  

2.Teen Magazines: This type of magazine is fairly popular to boys and girls between the ages of 12-16. It gives advice, life skills, the latest styles, surveys and games. etc.

3.Celebrity News/Entertainment: This type of magazine attracts people of all ages. It focuses on all the latest rumors and gossip about celebrities lives. Also, their accomplishments, dating lives, latest red carpet looks, etc.

4.Sports: This type of magazine mainly attracts, but not limited to, boys and men. It focuses on athletes and different games from all sports. News on the latest up and coming athletes, as well as retired athletes.
