Masthead Analysis

Hello World!! Today I am going to dig deeper into the masthead for my magazine.

The masthead of a magazine is often the title which is in a bigger, bolder font in order to catch the audience's attention.  So, your masthead is very critical when creating a magazine.

In publishing, a masthead is a list at the top of a page that includes the names of editors, writers, and owners, as well as the title of the newspaper or magazine. You'll usually find the masthead on one of the first few pages.

Digital mastheads serve as headlines, navigational guides, and an introduction to your brand. Mastheads should highlight the most important information, navigation, and branding efforts, by embracing simplicity and bold messaging.

For my magazine I've decided that my masthead will be bold, in pink lettering, using the font "lobster". Below will be an example of how it will look.
